The Windsor Essex Economic Development Corporation(Development Corporation) provides regional economic development services for Essex County.

The Development Corporation is a not-for-profit organization. Community leaders make up the board of the Corporation. The County of Essex and City of Windsor support the Development Corporation financially. The main focus of the organization is to develop and execute strategies to retain, expand, attract and help start up new businesses in the Windsor-Essex region.
