The Public Works staff is dedicated to providing a high level of customer service. Ongoing job development is provided to ensure that our equipment operators are fully qualified to perform their duties.
Services provided to Lakeshore residents and businesses:

The Town of Lakeshore has put together a short video outlining what our Engineering and Infrastructure department does for the municipality. Everything from road maintenance to providing clean water in our homes is outlined. This video shows our employees at work throughout the municipality.

Notre Dame Street Revitalization 2013
Lakeshore Council has authorized construction to commence on the Notre Dame Street Revitalization project.
The work this year will take place on Notre Dame St. from the Belle River to Dupuis St. and on First St. from Notre Dame to the VIA Rail tracks. The work includes complete road reconstruction, curbs, sidewalks, and street lighting upgrades, urban landscaping enhancements including tree planting, underground utility, water, storm and sanitary sewer work. Council has also approved the burial of overhead hydro wires along First Street to enhance the appearance of the prime gateway to Lakeview park and Marina. A potential gateway arch feature is also being contemplated across First St. to draw attention to the recently upgraded lakeview Park and Marina.
The contract was awarded to Coco paving Inc. Work will be commencing immediately and run into November 2013. Stantec Consulting is the Town's Engineering firm overseeing the project. Construction notices are being distributed and a Communication Plan is in place to keep the community updated.
