Local School Choir Featured in Lakeshore’s New O Canada Video

The talented choir from St. John the Baptist school in Belle River will help kick off Lakeshore Council and committee meetings with the launch of a new O Canada video.
The video, presented during the May 7, 2024, Council meeting, features audio of the choir singing O Canada in English and French, overlaid with scenic images from throughout Lakeshore. The video also includes video of two St. John the Baptist students performing the anthem in sign language.

May 5 to 11 is Emergency Preparedness Week, an annual event dedicated to ensuring you and your family are prepared for emergencies. In Ontario, this year’s theme is “Be Prepared. Know Your Risks.”
