Road Closure Notice: Lavoie Street

Lavoie Street from Eighth Street to Ninth Street will be closed on Monday, March 10, 2025, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM due to sewer repairs.

Winter weather taking a toll on local roads
The annual freeze-thaw cycle of winter in Southwestern Ontario is impacting local roads in the Municipality of Lakeshore. The fluctuating temperatures are causing uneven road surfaces, including cracks, potholes, and frost heaving, throughout the municipality.

Notice of Public Consultation Centre #2: County Road 22 Reconstruction

Introduction
The County of Essex in partnership with the Municipality of Lakeshore has retained BT Engineering Inc. to design the reconstruction of County Road 22 from I.C. Roy Street easterly to West Belle River Road. After reviewing public input from Public Consultation Centre (PCC) 1, Essex County Council directed further study to reduce property impacts.
