Recreation & Leisure - Lakeview Park/West Beach and Marina


The Belle River Marina, in the Town of Lakeshore is a full service, ‘deep water’ marina with over 250 seasonal and transient docks.  Facilities include a restaurant, gas (including diesel), pump-out facilities, 24 hour security, gated docks, pavilion, double access boat ramp, and washrooms with private showers.

At the adjacent Lakeview Park and West Beach, there are playgrounds, splashpad, amphitheatre, and sand volleyball.  Transient boaters are welcome to take advantage of free bicycle rentals to bike into town and cycle the trails.  Summer activities include free concerts and movies in the park.

There is a restaurant at the Marina, a snack shack serving ice cream at the beach, stores and other restaurants in Town as well as an LCBO and Beer Store.

Marina Regulations

  • Consumption of alcoholic beverages on the dock is prohibited by provincial regulation.
  • Swimming is available at the nearby beach.
  • Leashed pets are welcome.
  • Bins are provided for refuse.
  • Speed limit is 7 kmh (4 mph) in harbour areas.
  • The Belle River Marina is not liable for any injury, damage or loss.
  • Boaters are responsible for customs clearance.
