Reporting a Problem Online
Lakeshore is now using the Citywide platform for residents and visitors to submit service requests and problems related to municipal infrastructure, facilities, and programs.
The platform can be accessed from your home computer or smart mobile device.
The new platform improves the user experience and transparency.
Residents and visitors who create an account will be able to view all submitted requests and received status updates as issues are resolved.
Steps To Report A Report a Problem or Submit a Service Request:
- Access Lakeshore's Citywide Platform.
- Create an account or continue as guest.
- Provide details related to your submission.
- Your name, phone number, and email address (i

- Images, or other documents, related to the issue.
- Review your submission for accuracy before submitting.
- Once submitted, you will receive an email to the address provided with a summary of your submission and a service request number.
Please note, anonymous submissions are not currently accepted. If you would like to report a problem anonymously, please contact the Public Service Unit at PublicService@Lakeshore.ca or 519-728-2700.

What can I expect when I report a problem online?
After you submit your problem online, you will receive an email to the address you provided. The email will include a Service Request ID Number which will help you and Municipal staff track the progress on the problem you submitted.
Can I track my request?
Yes, once you submit your request you will receive a service request number. If you created an account on the portal, you can sign back in to view the status of your request. Alternatively, if you submitted your request as a guest, you can contact Lakeshore’s Public Service Unit at 519-728-2700 from Monday to Friday 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM to follow up on your request.
Why do you collect my contact information?
Your information is collected under the Municipal Act and will be used solely for the purpose of responding to your question or request. Valid contact information is also required in order to follow up on the status of your request when contacting the Public Service Unit.
My problem does not fall into one of these categories, what should I do?
If the problem you are submitting does not fall under any of the categories, please contact 519-728-2700 and you will be directed to the correct department.
I don’t want to provide my email or phone number, can I still report a problem?
The Municipality of Lakeshore does not accept anonymous submissions. If you would like to report a problem without providing your contact information, please call 519-728-2700.
