The following is a brief recap of the main issues and matters that Council dealt with at the meeting held on October 1, 2024. A video recording of the meeting will also be posted at Lakeshore.ca/TV.

Council: 

• Appointed Michael Hoffman to fill the vacancy for the office of Councillor – Ward 2

At the meeting on October 1, 2024, Lakeshore Council maintained their position on the potential development of greenhouses throughout the municipality.

At the meeting on October 1, 2024, Lakeshore Council welcomed the newly sworn-in Ward 2 Councillor, Michael Hoffman.

Council kicked off the meeting with the approval of a by-law to appoint the new member. Following the passage of the by-law, Hoffman took the Declaration of Office.

Richardson Sideroad, between County Road 46 to Desimpel Road will be closed on Monday, October 7,  until Friday, October 11, 2024, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM due to the Enbridge Panhandle Pipeline Project.
