Lakeshore Council Maintains Position on Greenhouses

At the meeting on October 1, 2024, Lakeshore Council maintained their position on the potential development of greenhouses throughout the municipality.
Council deferred consideration of a report on a study on the potential creation of a Greenhouse Business Park, which would see the development of a centralized location to site large-scale greenhouses in Lakeshore.
Council further requested changes to the Official Plan Amendment No. 18, which was submitted to the County of Essex in 2023 and is currently under review....

At the meeting on October 1, 2024, Lakeshore Council welcomed the newly sworn-in Ward 2 Councillor, Michael Hoffman.
Council kicked off the meeting with the approval of a by-law to appoint the new member. Following the passage of the by-law, Hoffman took the Declaration of Office.
