Building Permit Process Going Paperless

Applications to be submitted by email starting April 19
The Municipality of Lakeshore’s Building Division will no longer accept hard copies of permit applications beginning Tuesday, April 19, 2022.
Instead, digital or scanned copies of applications will be submitted via email to Building@Lakeshore.ca. The change is the next step in an ongoing effort to digitize applications, reduce processing times, and improve the experience of permit applicants.

Water Meter Replacement Program Starts Next Week

Monday appointments scheduled in targeted areas
The rollout of Lakeshore’s water meter replacement program starts next week with home appointments beginning on Monday, April 11.
The program will see Lakeshore staff working with technicians from Neptune Technology Group to replace over 4,500 home water meters throughout the community.

Community visioning session to follow this Spring
The Municipality of Lakeshore is kicking off its call for community members to help create a vision for the future of Stoney Point Community Park.
