Lakeshore Council officially approved the Lighthouse Cove Golf Cart pilot project at the meeting on February 11, 2025. Council adopted a by-law to participate in the Government of Ontario program, and approved fees for registration as well as costs for signage and safety measures.

Move vehicles from roadways for snow clearing operations

With more wintry weather in the forecast, the Municipality of Lakeshore is putting the call out for assistance from community members.

Residents are asked to move parked cars off local roads wherever possible. Parked vehicles can either prevent clearing or increase the amount of time needed to clear a road, particularly on cul-de-sacs and near curb extensions.
