2025 Collection Calendar Update

Lakeshore’s 2025 Garbage and Recycling Collection Calendars are on the way!
Calendars are scheduled to be mailed by the end of the week and should arrive in mailboxes by January 31, 2025.
A limited number of calendars will also be available for pickup, by request, during regular business hours at the Atlas Tube Recreation Centre starting January 31, 2025.
If you do not receive a calendar in the mail by the end of the day on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, please contact Lakeshore’s Public Service Unit...

Based on Environment and Climate Change Canada’s forecast, Dr. Mehdi Aloosh, Windsor-Essex County Health Unit’s Medical Officer of Health has issued a Cold Warning for Monday, January 20 and Tuesday, January 21, 2025. Winter Safety Reminder: Move Cars Off Local Roads

The Municipality of Lakeshore is reminding residents to move vehicles off roads whenever possible during and after snowfall.
Parked cars can block the way for snow plows, which slows down snow clearing operations. Parked vehicles should stay off the street until clearing is complete. This may take 24 to 36 hours after snowfall ends, depending on the amount of snow.
Vehicles parked in areas that are impeding snow plowing operations may receive a notice on their vehicle or at their residence.
