Summer Jobs Now Open for Applications

The Municipality of Lakeshore’s summer student job positions are now open for applications. All local youth who are 16 years of age or older and returning to school in September of 2024 are eligible to apply. Applications will be accepted until February 23, 2024, at 9:00 AM.
Most summer student positions run from May to Labour Day. The positions offer on-the-job experience for a wide range of interests and career paths.

Changes to Christmas Tree Drop-off in Woodslee

Location moved to Libro Centre parking lot
Residents in the Woodslee area looking to drop off their Christmas tree can head to the Libro Centre/Millen Park parking lot (1925 South Middle Road) instead of Memorial Park.
The drop-off area is located at the southeast corner of the Libro Centre parking lot and will be available until January 31.
The other Christmas tree drop-off locations in Lakeshore remain the same as last year, including:

St. Clair Shores Park Now Open

Upgrades include walking trail improvements, lighting, and a new pavilion
Members of Lakeshore Council toured the newly upgraded St. Clair Shores Park (200 Amy Croft Drive) this week. The park, which recently reopened after construction earlier this year, saw a suite of improvements.
Upgrades to the park include:
- Lakeshore’s first implementation of solar-powered bollards to provide lighting along the new asphalt walking trail.
- Accessibility improvements to the play area, picnic tables, and benches.
