
Lakeshore Receives Over $7 Million Through Housing Accelerator Fund

The Municipality of Lakeshore has received over $7 million from the Government of Canada’s Housing Accelerator Fund. The funding will help lay the groundwork for the building of new homes over the next decade.

Council Meetings Return to Town Hall

While Lakeshore Council meetings will return to Town Hall (419 Notre Dame) starting Tuesday, February 4, 2025, parts of Town Hall remain under construction.
Council meetings will continue to be streamed live online and available at Lakeshore.ca/TV. Delegates who wish to address Council can do so in-person or virtually.

Last Call for Housing Survey Responses

Lakeshore residents only have a few more days to complete the Housing Needs Assessment Survey, which is designed to help the municipality identify gaps in housing availability and affordability.
The survey, available online at Lakeshore.ca/HousingSurvey, will be open until Sunday, February 2, 2025.
This survey is expected to take approximately 10 minutes to complete, and your honest answers are greatly appreciated. All responses are anonymous.
