Inclusive/Integrated Services
Lakeshore Recreation partners with Windsor-Essex Children’s Aid Society and Family Respite Services to provide support persons available to assist children in day camp programs at the Atlas Tube Recreation Centre.
How to register for Inclusive Services
If you are interested in applying for support person assistance for your child in a Lakeshore camp, call either of our two partner organizations and submit your request:

Once approved, a representative from the organization will contact Lakeshore Recreation services to arrange for the support person’s attendance.
Regular registration fees apply to all participants; support staff are not charged to attend.
Recreation Assistance Program (Funded by Pathway to Potential)
Reduced cost for program options are available for eligible families through the Pathway to Potential. Significant cost reductions are available for those that qualify.
- 90% of the registration fee for recreation, leisure, social and educational programs for eligible participants is covered through this subsidy funding program.
- Age requirements - all ages - preschool, youth, adults, seniors!
- Funds are based on the size of the family unit and maximum family income levels established (see application for levels).
- Funds are based on a first come, first serve basis and may be limited.
- The Municipality of Lakeshore reserves the right to reject any claim if funding is no longer available.
- Only programs approved by the Municipality of Lakeshore are eligible for coverage.

- Child Tax Benefit Form for Youth Applications (including the Family Net Income Level & Eligible children)
- Notice of Assessment (Line 23600)
- 90% Recreation Discount - Application Form
- An application must be submitted to Recreation Services with the above documents no later than 2 weeks prior to the start date of the recreation program.
- Families will be required to pay 10% of the registration fee per program to the organization upon registration + HST if required.

- Minor Hockey Associations
- Dance Organization
- Scouts Clubs
- Art Programs
- Organization within Windsor-Essex County
- Non-profit/charitable organization or a socially responsible private-sector organization
- Social programs which promote healthy child development, social inclusion, income support and higher educational achievement, constitute one aspect of an overall strategy aimed at ensuring the greatest possible economic and social equity for all children and their families
- Enhances the quality of life of residents who are living with low-income.
