Town Hall Renovations

Lakeshore Town Hall renovations are here!

While the building will be closed for a period of time, the Municipality of Lakeshore will continue to provide the same high-quality, in-person service that you are used to.

All Town Hall services have been temporarily moved to:

• Atlas Tube Recreation Centre
  447 Renaud Line Rd, Belle River, ON
• Services will be available Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

Operational Changes

Property tax and water bill payments

• Bill payments can be made in-person at the Atlas Tube Recreation Centre. Lakeshore continues to offer several other convenient alternative payment options, including online payments through your financial institution. Learn more online at Lakeshore.ca/Payments

Mail

• All mail must be addressed to the Municipality of Lakeshore Town Hall to have it forwarded to the Atlas Tube Recreation Centre. Mail addressed to individual staff members or departments may not be forwarded so please ensure mail is addressed the Municipality of Lakeshore. Use "Attn:" to have it delivered to the appropriate individuals.

Council meetings

• As of February 4, 2025, Council meetings will return to Lakeshore Town Hall (419 Notre Dame). Ongoing construction will have the following impact on Council meeting attendees and delegates:
  • Council Chambers will only be accessible via the northeast door off Eighth Street at the north of the building. The main entrance remains closed to the public.
  • Parking is in the north lot (Eighth Street and Lavoie Street) for Council attendees and delegates.  
  • While air quality testing returned safe results, construction dust and odour is expected. Individuals with allergies or other sensitivities may be affected. 
  • The accessible elevator will not be available until the facility returns to full operation.
  • Meetings will continue to be streamed online at Lakeshore.ca/TV

• Lakeshore asks that Council attendees and spectators abide by all posted construction signage to ensure their safety.
