Action-packed schedule of family-friendly fun and fireworks
The Municipality of Lakeshore's Canada Day festivities are coming to the Atlas Tube Recreation Centre on Saturday, July 1, 2023.
Events kick off with a beach volleyball tournament, hosted by OnPoint Beach Volleyball (register online), starting at 9:00 AM at Lakeview Park West Beach. At 4:00 PM, festivities get rolling at the Atlas Tube Recreation Centre (447 Renaud Line Road) with a wide range of family-friendly activities, including:
- Family swim, skate, and open gym times (pre-register online).
- Glitter tattoos, yard games, and display booths from local community groups and museums.
- A Skate Lakeshore synchronized skating presentation at 5:00 PM.
- Magic show at 5:30 PM and Jangles the Clown at 6:00 PM.
- Live music with:
- Brian Neufeld at 3:30 PM.
- Luc Michaud & David Labute at 4:30 PM.
- Leave Those Kids Alone at 7:30 PM.
- Fireworks start at dusk.
