The Lighthouse Cove Golf Cart Pilot Project is a go!
On February 11, 2025, Council approved a by-law to move forward with the Province of Ontario's Golf Cart Pilot program.
The pilot program, which runs until 2031, would allow residents and visitors to use golf carts on municipal roads in Lighthouse Cove from April 1 to November 30 each year.
Please note, golf carts are not permitted until the licensing program is established. The earliest date that golf carts could be permitted in Lighthouse Cove is April 1, 2025.
