Received a presentation by representatives of the Essex County OPP Detachment Board – North (Lakeshore, Essex, Tecumseh) regarding the 2025 Proposed Budget.

Received a report and presentation regarding a Review of the Parkland Dedication By-law and Summary of Consultations and approved By-law 110-2024 to provide for the dedication of parkland.

2025 Draft Budget – Information Report. Council deliberation and approval of the final budget are scheduled to take place on January 23 and 24, 2025.

Approved By-law 113-2024 to authorize an agreement with the Province of Ontario for Marriage Licence Modernization.

Approved By-law 117-2024 to amend the Appointment By-law (By-law 34-2019) and the Property Standards By-law (By-law 23-2018).

Approved By-law 119-2024 to authorize the execution of a Source Water Protection Plan Part IV Enforcement Transfer Agreement with the Essex Region Conservation Authority (ERCA).

Approved By-law 120-2024 to authorize the execution of an Operations and Maintenance Service Agreement with the Ontario Clean Water Agency (OCWA).

Approved an amendment to the River Ridge Phase 7 Subdivision Agreement, and the application for exemption for Part Lot Control for Blocks 9 and 10, on Registered Plan 12M-659 in the Municipality of Lakeshore; and adopted the authorizing by-laws (By-law 114-2024, By-law 115-2024, and By-law 116-2024).

Refused Zoning By-law Amendment Application ZBA-03-2021 to amend Zoning By-law 2-2012 (as amended) to amend the zoning of the lands located at 1356 County Road 46 and legally described as Part of the North Half of Lot 17, Concession North of Middle Road; Part of the South Half of Lot 17, Concession North of Middle Road; Maidstone, designated as Part 1 on Plan 12R9966; Lakeshore, save and except Part 1 on Plan 12R21483, being all of the Property Identifier Number 75025-0106(LT), to permit an event venue on a portion of the existing farm and in the existing on-site farm structure as a home industry.

Approved an application for exemption for Part Lot Control for Lots 10-14; 18-22; and 28-52, on Registered Plan 12M-698 in the Municipality of Lakeshore and adopted By-law 123-2024.
