Open house to be hosted August 23, Council meeting to follow in September
Lakeshore citizens and local stakeholders are invited to provide their input and share feedback on a draft version of a study that investigates the potential impacts of large-scale greenhouse farm developments in the Municipality.
The study, prepared by consultants at Storey Samways Planning Ltd., considers the effects of greenhouse developments through several lenses, including finance, climate change, as well as land use & community planning. It also considers approaches taken by other municipalities with such developments.
Two open houses will be hosted on Tuesday, August 23, 2022.
