The Municipality of Lakeshore is committed to providing our communities with high quality, accessible recreation and leisure opportunities for people of varying abilities and financial means.

People with disabilities are encouraged to participate in their choice of recreational activity, at a level of participation suitable to their ability.

Inclusive/Integrated Services

Lakeshore Recreation partners with Windsor-Essex Children’s Aid Society and Family Respite Services to provide support persons available to assist children in day camp programs at the Atlas Tube Recreation Centre.

How to register for Inclusive Services

If you are interested in applying for support person assistance for your child in a Lakeshore camp, call either of our two partner organizations and submit your request:

  • Minor Hockey Associations
  • Dance Organization
  • Scouts Clubs
  • Art Programs
Third-party partnerships are based on applicants meeting the following requirements:
  • Organization within Windsor-Essex County
